Places to Stay

There are many lovely places to stay in St Louis. Here are some of our favorite neighborhoods.

While staying in St Louis, be mindful that it is a city. We do not recommend leaving valuables in your car at any time.

If you would like to apply for housing with locals, check out the housing tab.

Housing

*Housing forms will open after registration for the event begins - late spring/early summer.*

We will do our best to place as many out of town guests as we can. Whether you would like to host or request accommodation, please complete the forms below by September 2nd - this is our priority deadline. Forms filled out after this date will be consider if there is availability.

All guests and hosts will need to agree to this waiver before matching. Dance MO Bal is only the facilitator for matching hosts and guests.

Thank you SO much for offering spaces in your home for our out of town dance friends!

Please complete this form by September 2nd (though earlier really helps with planning!). We hope to announce all matches by September 6th. We will share your name and phone number with your guest(s) and it is your responsibility to communicate with each other about access, arrival, departure, and stay expectations. You do not need to participate in classes in order to host, so tell your friends!

We are so excited to have you in St Louis! Some of our lovely local dancers have offered spaces in their homes for out of town dancers. Spaces are limited and we will do out best to place as many people as we can. Please apply using this form. We will start matches after the September 2nd deadline in the order we received these forms, though preference will be given to those that have already registered for the event.

Housing Coordinator

Richelle Webster-Perry

Richelle (she/her) has been a dancer since she was a child and started dancing Lindy Hop and Balboa in early 2023 with her wife, Madeline. She quickly fell in love with the great music, dancing, and community found in the swing dance scenes in St. Louis and beyond and has been hooked ever since.

As a woman who dances as a lead, Richelle is especially passionate about building dance communities that encourage free and authentic expression for dancers of all genders and identities. She is also interested in the history and culture shared between tap dance, which she has studied and danced since early childhood, and jazz and swing dances; she recently organized a Tap for Lindy Hoppers Workshop to support cross-pollination between the swing and tap dance communities in St. Louis.

Richelle is excited to support Dance MO Bal’s efforts to build community in the Midwest Balboa scene through her role as Housing Coordinator.
